Elmer Wayne Henley Jr., 17, is booked on a murder charge after killing Dean Corll, 33. Corll was a serial killer who murdered at least 29 young men and boys. Initially called a hero for killing Corll, Henley soon confessed to being the older man’s accomplice, Texas, August 9, 1973 .
